The Impact Report was released to commerorate the 10th anniversary of the provider network. It was created to showcase the value and impact the SOMOS Community Care had on the 1 million + New Yorkers it served since it’s inception in the NYS DSRIP program up to its 10th anniversary in 2024. I led and managed the design team contracted to design the report and collaborated with the Chief Officers of each department, in addition to the Compliance, Data Analytics, and Legal teams to ensure all data was accurately cited and carefully curated the organization’s history to complete this project. Back-to-School Health Brochure
Back-to-School Health Campaign I began leading SOMOS’ annual Back-to-School Health initiative campaign. The campaign included community health fairs in which SOMOS network providers conducted health screenings for children. An online hub was created on the SOMOS website so parents could find all the information needed for a successful school year. From finding a primary care physician to the NYC Department of Education’s school supplies lists, annual physical forms, etc. This campaign was implemented in three languages: English, Spanish, and Chinese. The campaign was designed to educate parents on the importance of their children’s health beyond their annual check up. i.e. maintaining their children’s vaccination schedule, healthy eating habits, fitness, and sleep routines. SOMOS Kidz Animated Series
SOMOS Kidz Animated Series SOMOS Kidz is a short animated series produced as part of SOMOS Community Care’s COVID-19 health initiative campaign for young children, funded by the New York State Health department. The series featured three children living in New York City during the COVID-19 pandemic and was produced into English and Spanish. The goal of the series was to teach young children how to practice COVID-19 prevention measures such as social distancing and how to properly wash their hands as they go about their daily routines. It was the first COVID-19 awareness and prevention content produced for children under 12 years of age in the United States. It was also one of the organization’s first two NY Emmys awarded by NATAS in 2021. Watch the Series
